Fashion expert Prada clothed their models with a 1950s style of voluminous printed satin dresses. They are displaying 50s housewives. Louis Vuitton showed ultra-poufy skirts and tight-corseted floral tops along with cream-colored sweaters. High waist pencil skirts were presented by Nina Ricci while Marc Jacobs’s models wore wool skirts and wool two-button jackets with sweet heels, paired with black DKNY socks.
Fur has been very popular in the trends as well. All these styles basically came from the fashions trends of 50′s. “The women in the 1950s were the epitome of style, they always looked so put together. It’s pretty refreshing seeing the models fully dressed and conservative, instead of being in a state of half-dress,” said Sarah Beyel, a senior public relations major.
Seeing all these fabulous dresses would make every woman want to have. However, how about those women who can’t afford these expensive look? That is not going to be problem at all, all you to do it is ask your mom and and might as well make use of their old clothes in the cabinet and have a simple mix and match.
